Character Appearance: With brown hair, brown eyes, and a sweet smile, Marlene stands at about four foot, four inches, and weighs just under sixty pounds. She’s thin, bright, and usually wears simple, knee-length dresses, a pair of worn sneakers, and she never forgets the pink ribbon in her hair.

Get to know her better

Personal History:

Orphaned at the age of five, Marlene joined the first small band of other orphaned kids she’d met. Most of them were a little mean and greedy due to their living situation, but Marlene quickly figured out how to fix this. Although young, she was very smart and after some time she became the ‘leader’ of the group, teaching the other kids that they didn’t need to be cruel and that everyone could share and still be able to have what they needed. Everything was going fine until a time came when food and water wasn’t as easy to get, and what they could get was far to little to be split between everyone. Like most children, they found someone else to blame. Unfortunately, it happened to be Marlene. One of the older kids, tired of being starved, looked over by those who were more fortunate, and just particularly angry, advanced on Marlene and took things a little too far, and Marlene took a blow to the head. The last thing she could recall was a shout, and then everything fading to black.

When Marlene came to, she found herself confused and scared, unable to recall where she was, how she’d gotten there, and why her head hurt so much. She was alone, or so she thought, and unsure of where to go or what had happened. Upon observation, she realized that she wasn’t alone when her eyes fell on an older boy sitting on an old wooden crate, looking back at her.

Skittishly, she asked who he was and what had happened, and it was from then that her friendship with Denzel started. Marlene stuck with Denzel, unable to remember her other friends at all.

It was later on that they met a group called themselves Femme Fatale; a group of homeless teenagers trying to live off the streets just like Marlene and Denzel. Soon after their meeting, they joined their group, and she’s been with them [and Denzel] ever since.

Personality: Marlene is a very kind, sweet, and gentle little girl with a stubborn streak in her that sometimes shines through. She likes to pretend that she isn’t afraid of anything, even if she is, and uses her cuteness to get her way without even realizing she’s doing so. Marlene is a little smarter and more mature than most children at her age and means well in almost everything she does. Her family is what matters most, and she’d do anything for them. Marlene is really just a small adult.
